  • Residency Arquetopia
Hi, Jut wondering if anyone has recent (2025-2026) experiences with Arquetopia's residency in Peru to share? These reviews have been very helpful!...
  • Europartfair 2021
I agree. Stay away from all products of this organisation. Not really a scam, but definitely feeding off insecure artists paying to play. The artfairs are bad quality, only visited by friends and family of the artists on free admission tickets. The books are sold to the artists themselves. They name a lot of famous artists on their site as "supporting their ideas", as well as politicians as ambassadors who do not know about this.They...

Hi Giuseppe. Welcome to our forum....
  • ADC – Art Comes Alive Competition
Litsa has no ethics. She is awful. I “won” a LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD. It was a cheap piece of paper. No prize, no nothing. I wouldn’t mourn her. STAY AWAY....

Excellence Art Gallery. Clearly a vanity Gallery, you won¡t get anything else than money wasted.. Beware!...
  • Excellance art Gallery in Mirabella, Spain
This is a subjective, likely biased endorsement that shouldn’t carry much weight without independent verification....
  • Excellance art Gallery in Mirabella, Spain
Thank you for clarifying that your gallery is indeed a pay to play company and not a real and respected gallery. The artists are your customers, not the people who buy the art. So you don't make money by selling art, but by renting out the walls. You are a vanity gallery, as you clarified....
  • Excellance art Gallery in Mirabella, Spain
Oh please, if you have to clarify that you are neither a chatbot nor a friend, you are either or both. Provide your name and social media account so we can verify that you are indeed an artist and are telling the truth. How much art have you sold through this gallery?...

Provide your name and social media account so we can verify that you are indeed an artist and are telling the truth. How much art have you sold through this gallery? Have you received any invitations to collaborate with prestigious galleries since all this?...
  • Excellance art Gallery in Mirabella, Spain
And here we go again, suddenly the page appears with comments praising the gallery. Vanity gallerists think artists are so stupid that we believe these praising comments, which are btw written by the gallerists themselves. How and why would any artist who has positive experiences with these galleries even come to this page? This page is visited by artists who are looking for information about collaborators, as well as artists who have had bad experiences,...

Excellence Art Gallery, Holy Art gallery, Van Gogh, Gaudí, Azur, Monat... No matter the name, they are all vanity galleries and exactly the same trash!...

  • If you’re approached by “Gallerist” Marco Antonio Patrizio – Run!
He just contacted me a couple of weeks ago. Now the gallery is called AM Fine Art located in the Duomo square. He says his name is Marcio. Thank you so much everyone for posting this warning!...
  • Excellance art Gallery in Mirabella, Spain
In my case, my experience as an artist with Excellence Art Gallery has been positive. I understand that there may be different opinions, but personally, it has brought me a lot. I’ve had the opportunity to participate in international exhibitions in cities such as Paris, Monaco, Brussels, and Barcelona, which has helped me gain experience and showcase my work beyond my local environment. Also, just to clarify, the gallery is indeed open in Marbella (Plaza Santo...

My experience and opinion: Just started with him with a pack exhibition and representation for one year; it finally had been five years collaborating. In 2021 was my first solo exhibition in Art Marbella Art Café as the physical gallery with a successfull result. Now a days, even the gallery format had changed there are always different places as headquarters that the artworks got visibility. I would not have a long relationship colaboration with Giuseppe Carnevale as...

  • Excellance art Gallery in Mirabella, Spain
OFFICIAL STATEMENT – EXCELLENCE ART GALLERY From Excellence Art Gallery, we wish to publicly respond to a series of false, unfounded, and clearly defamatory statements circulated by profiles operating under the name “ANONIMUS.” First of all, we consider it necessary to provide context regarding the origin of these publications. These are anonymous profiles that, for months, have been acting repeatedly across different platforms, using multiple identities. This behavior—based on the systematic dissemination of unsubstantiated accusations—lacks credibility and...

Giuseppe Carnevale and Excellence Art Gallery, the worst I've come across. Very unprofessional, fake promises, rookie methods and very overpriced....
  • Residency Arquetopia
Oh wow!! I am in Puebla now and left half way through my residency for many of the same reasons. Fortunately I found a fabulous airbnb, at my own expense of course. I love Puebla, but all that you said is so true!...
  • Holy Art Gallery?
Is the owner that absolute disgusting cheetos eating dressed like homeless I met in their Dalston gallery?...
  • Arcade Project, M. Charlene Stevens
Rewritten for clarity: I can confirm the comments regarding Charlene. I will add that she sabotages deadlines. She makes herself the center of attention as everyone begs her to do her work and she deliberately turns it in at the last minute. The team then has to work all night to prepare her work printer or the website. She has cheated the artists she''s endorsed out of press in this way....
  • Studio Visit Magazine
I was in an earlier publication, and was pleased with the look of it. I see people saying "pay to play", and I guess this is the case, kind of a vanity publication? I thought I would apply a second time, the juror seemed interesting. I got in, paid for a 2 page spread. I followed what was required for images and expected them to be printed as I sent them with the background showing...
  • PAKS Gallery, Vienna/other locations
Thank you for your opinions. I received the same invitation. My web host classified it as scam....
  • LemoArt Gallery
My experience with Ludvig Rage ist 100% positive. I have been collaborating with them, they promoted my work and thanks to them I have met many gallery owners and collectors and sold many of my works. I don't understand people like you, spreading lies. It's a shame! Thanks Ludvig Rage for all the support and effort!!!...
  •  Contemporary Art Curator (Magazine)
I sent them all of my best art and my Biography and after I emailed everything to them I have not heard form them, so they are probably selling my art. So they steal art. I hope that they are caught....
  • Galería Gaudí
I’m an experienced artist. If a gallery considers you as an investment it is typical to have commission taken but THAT is ALL. The lack of transparency on their socials is concerning- sure, beautiful art photographed but where are the photographs of the fairs and their people representing you? Championing you? If you’re paying these massive fees on top of commission consider 1) what kind of placement this buys you in a fair. Where is...
  • LemoArt Gallery
I didn’t want to write this review but I feel the obligation to warn the artistic community about the problematic business practices of Ludvig Rage Club and its leadership. I will not go much into the details, but I want to clearly state that my experience matches the pattern of business practices described in the below negative reviews regarding misleading claims and unprofessional conduct. I paid for a publication/event service with a clear deadline, which they...
  • The Other Art Fair, London UK
Hommm. Mixed thoughts here but tbh that’s the way it is at every art fair. They are all a huge risk due to time and costs. They are a lot of effort but unfortunately like a musician having to do free gigs to get noticed and on the map, art fairs are there for the same reason. Very very few go completely sell out and make a big. profit...
  • Galeria Azur Madrid
You don’t need to be famous to sell your art, you just need the right opportunities. And to put it infront of art lovers. Many artists get scammed and warning others of possible scams is very helpful. If you don’t want to take that warning in consideration thats up to you. But don’t berate someone for trying to help other artists not loose hard earned money. That’s just my take as a 25 year...
Laura Stout, Dallas, Tx

Anybody have any contact with this person? She (?) has written me twice talkiNg about buying my art. The English was pretty good but not perfect. She spoke of buying one painting, then attached 4. Of course, there was the obligatory red flag in that her husband will send the check…but he’s not home right now…my assumption is that this is a scam…it fits so many patterns we’ve seen. Let me know if you know anything?

Clio Art Fair (the Anti-Fair)

I have a question that I think might interest more artist here. I’m thinking to apply for a fair in NY and found the Clio Art Fair, also called anti-fair. I didn’t really get a good impression from their website, but I might be wrong and therefore I was wandering if anybody has any opinion/experience regarding this fair?

Vision Art Fair

I paid these people a deposit for a female only art fair that they were organising for March 2020. They then said there were problems at the venue and they would have to cancel. Several emails from them later promising a refund and nothing yet!!! Anyone else get involved with this?

Murze Magazine – Pay to Play?

Anybody have experience with Murze magazine? Saw their open call and submitted based on the prospectus…then upon further research I discovered that there was no mention of an actual person, let alone persons, writing and editing the articles – only the “Murze” editorial team. Read through their articles and found substantial editing and grammatical errors – almost “scammy.” The submission fee was only around $10 but still…seems like a scam. Can anybody confirm or deny this? Thank you!

DAC Concepts Miami Florida

Please I need to hear any experiences you have had with DAC Concepts Miami, Florida. I was approached and told that if I pay a fee of $350 I could exhibit a 10×10 inch artwork at Design+ at the Hyatt Regency but there is no mention of Design+ on the Internet and when I went into the webpage of the hotel there is no mention of this event either. The person who contacted me was Maria Apostolidis and she said they sell art online and also in Dubai, London, Berlin and China. Maria Apostolidis Founder | Owner d | a…

A5 and Average Arts

SCAM I have recently dealt with Average Art and A5. I believe they are both scams. I have not received any of the issues (it has been a month) and no reply to my emails or Instagram pms. I am very upset and embarrassed as many of my friends, family and colleagues ordered these publications as I was to be featured in them. DON’T DO IT
