Europartfair 2021I agree. Stay away from all products of this organisation. Not really a scam, but definitely feeding off insecure artists paying to play. The artfairs are bad quality, only visited by friends and family of the artists on free admission tickets. The books are sold to the artists themselves. It was ArtsGowanus and Imagination Collective that was doing the ArtWalk on Atlantic Avenue and THEY placed the posters and THEY received $$$ from the Sponsors!! Anybody have any contact with this person? She (?) has written me twice talkiNg about buying my art. The English was pretty good but not perfect. She spoke of buying one painting, then attached 4. Of course, there was the obligatory red flag in that her husband will send the check…but he’s not home right now…my assumption is that this is a scam…it fits so many patterns we’ve seen. Anybody have experience with Murze magazine? Saw their open call and submitted based on the prospectus…then upon further research I discovered that there was no mention of an actual person, let alone persons, writing and editing the articles – only the “Murze” editorial team. Read through their articles and found substantial editing and grammatical errors – almost “scammy.” The submission fee was only around $10 but still…seems like a scam. Can anybody confirm or deny this? Thank you!
