    My experience in London with them weas extremely disappointing. They were trying to upsell me everything with huge mark ups. I had to pay hundreds in order to have a chair to sit on during the event. Having talked to fellow participating artists, they seemed to struggle to land any sales. Footfall was not amazing either, considerably different vibes from when I visited 7 years ago as a guest. This brand is dying and I would steer clear....

    I exhibited with parallax in Chelsea town hall back in 2015 it was the worst show I have ever been involved with there were so few visitors at the make the whole experience laughable it put me off shows in London for year toll I realised it was a total scam I’m appalled by this organisation and hope nobody else falls for what they say...

    Europartfair is not really a scam but a fair where artists can pay for their own stand. The quality is not good. Definitely not worth it. The only one making money here is the organization. This organization has many ways to make money off hopeful artists such as ADAF (Annual Dutch Art fair), Art Eindhoven, books and magazines (pay to play), paid competitions etc. Stay away....

    Context Art Gallery just reached out to me today. I contacted a friend that frequents Venice several times a year and she found this article for me! Thank god I did a little research first. I only have an email address for this person he gave me the name Jacobo. He sent me two forms. One for the Pavi art expo…..looks very legit. Luckily I didn’t send him any money. Banditto residency

I got contacted by The Banditto Residency in Italy. Did some research and got in touch with 2 artists who had been invited to go. they ask people to apply but apparently end up inviting artists who already have a bit of exposure. so is the process legit ? the fee just a mean to make a little extra ? they have no press. seems quite fishy but i’d love to hear some other feedbacks.

I reached out to Petrina Easton vias Linked In to see what she offers artists. I got an immediate reply- she is an art advisor and for $500 a year offers three shows, an online platform, etc… Has anyone had any experiences with her? I abhor “pay-to-play” schemes.

I applied to the Pashmin Art Gallery for a group exhibition in Beijing. It will take place in an art museum. The gallery sent me an email with an extensive application form. It took me a lot of time to fill it out. Nowhere I could find information the costs. The gallery accepted my application and an assistant phoned me a few times. Anybody have any contact with this person? She (?) has written me twice talkiNg about buying my art. The English was pretty good but not perfect. She spoke of buying one painting, then attached 4. Of course, there was the obligatory red flag in that her husband will send the check…but he’s not home right now…my assumption is that this is a scam…it fits so many patterns we’ve seen.
